“We could not imagine a more perfect guide than Gian. His knowledge and passion for the bush, including all of its wildlife, plant life, and landscapes, shone through at every moment. We feel very lucky to have had him as our guide.”
BUFFALO
Our walking area is in the heart of
a dry season cape buffalo corridor. With herds often over 100 strong, it has the highest density of buffalo in the park.
ELEPHANT
Many an hour is spent observing elephant families or big old tuskers browsing the woodlands or coming to the rivers to drink.
RAPTORS
The area has an amazing diversity
of birds of prey. On the walk, we are continually spotting numerous eagles species, Peregrine falcons and countless vultures, often descending onto fresh lion kills.
GIRAFFE, ZEBRA & ANTELOPE
On the trail, we regularly walk upon zebra, warthog, giraffe and near two dozen antelope species.
LION & LEOPARD
This is ideal predator habitat – a perfect storm of prey supply, water and rocky outcrops in which to hide and raise cubs. Serengeti lion and leopard densities are of the highest in Africa.
all in the detail
It is not all about the "big stuff". With each step forward we take in the astounding diversity of birds, reptiles, and insects.
“One word says it all “PERFECT”. You were the consummate professional, an encyclopaedia of knowledge and always enriching the four of us. By the end of the trip, you had even made a ‘birder’ out of me.”
